Citrus fruits such as grapefruits, oranges, limes, and lemons, are very well-known for their high content of vitamin C or ascorbic acid – something we all need on a daily basis. A diet rich in citrus fruits (vitamin C) can help us rebuild tissues and bones, reduce inflammation, lessen the symptoms of cold and boost immunity.
While we love using fresh citrus to add flavor and vitamins to water, that isn’t always practical, especially with how busy life gets. Since citrus is the only fruit in the world in which vitamin C remains in the natural form it is an ideal candidate for dehydrating.
An Easy Way to Infuse Flavor to Water and Tea
A bonus about our little dehydrated citrus slices is that they are portable. Take them to work and add to water anytime without worrying about taking fresh citrus slices and keeping them refrigerated. Also great for traveling because they’re easy to store in your bag, or car. Our dried citrus slices not just incredibly flavorful, they’re pretty, too.
Our citrus slices are made on our farm from our organic fruit and come in four flavors.
