Our organic Blood oranges are in season December through April. They thrive in Temecula’s climate. Our high summer develops good sugar content, and our cold winter nights help them turn super red in color and reduces the fruit’s acidity. The distinctive red color of their flesh and rind is due to the presence of anthocyanin, a plant compound that also colors some berries and flowers. Blood oranges taste like oranges mixed with raspberries.
